He was the President of Delhi Tamil Sangam and the Supreme Court Bar Association for some time. He is the Vice President of SEARCH (An Association of Seekers of Truth) and Shanmughananda Sangeeta Sabha, New Delhi. He received the National Law Day Award for excellence in Civil Law in 1998. He was given Paramacharya's Seva-Ratna Award by the Centenarian Trust in 2005. His Major WorksHis book 'Premopanishad' is the new Upanishad of this century. It consists of the Divine Teachings of Bhagwan Shri Satya Sai Baba. His discourses have been presented in the form of quotations arranged under one hundred eight chapters covered in ten volumes. These ten volumes are comprehensive of all the important teachings of the Swami including the four Vedas, one hundred eight Upanishads,, eighteen Puranas, three basic Philosophies viz. Dwaita, Visisihtaadwaita and Adwaita, four Purushaartas, three Awasthas, four Aashramas, five Elements, three Gunas, and Brahma Sutras. His book titled 'Bhajagovindam' is unique owing to its comprehensive and elaborate commentary on the subject, an effort to bring out the quintessence of Indian Spirituality acceptable to the inquisitive and modern mind and several anecdotes and apt quotations from authoritative works. Another significant book titled 'Sai on Himself' brings out the theme of his teachings and genuine doubts aroused in modern minds, especially about his miracles that are answered in Sai's own words.
